Overview:

The ACT! Sales Manager for New Product Sales will manage a variety of distinct sales activities.  This manager will be required to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals for ACT! products and services.  Present residency in the Atlanta area will be strongly preferred.

 

 



Responsibilities:

This position will focus on improving selling to prospective accounts in a call center environment; this includes imparting the full range of prospecting, selling, account management and closing skills to the sales team. 

 

General responsibilities include the development of a 5-10 person telesales team which will engage in both inbound and outbound calling activities. Management and development of sales associates to exceed performance objectives is primary.  Industry, product and sales skills knowledge are key components to the role.  Collection and analysis of key data and metrics and development of actionable plans associated with this data will be critical to the success of the department. 



Qualifications:
  • Experience in telesales management is highly preferred.
  • B2B Sales Management to small to mid-sized companies is the ideal background for success in this position.
  • Ability to understand and coach to a structured sales process while integrating a strong customer experierce across a large organization is key.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in sales leadership is required.
  • Experienced in the management of an inside sales team in a multifaceted, account management environment.
  • Must possess a proven track record of and the ability to achieve challenging sales objectives.
  • Ability to gather and analyze results and make recommendations to improve outcomes based on those findings.
  • Must possess excellent leadership skills
  • Must have proven ability to work cross-departmentally in order to gain cooperation and assistances from other departments.
  • Must have the ability to build and maintain a strong sales team and lead both supervisors and sales associates.
  • Understanding of hiring strategy, hiring profile and various recriting methodologies is preferred.
  • Experienced in providing leadership and setting up performance standards based on varying metrics that will create a performance driven culture that recognizes excellence.
  • Must also have: strong computer skills, strong verbal skills, strong interpersonal skills, good organizational skills, and be goal oriented with attention to detail.
